"Fashion"

It is true that nowadays our youth usually reffered to as teenagers is becoming slaves to fashion. Here by slaves we mean a person who is imprisoned by a certain trend and is following it blindly without using any god gifted sense , whatsoever. And fashion is a mindless obsession with a certain thing or thought, followed by a fanatical yearning to follow that fad blindly.
Golde Meir, an Israeli prime minister said “fashion is an imposition, a reign on freedom”.
Youth are rebellious because of the restlessness within. They covet (want) to break away from the values, traditions and norms of their peers. They are quick to pursue (follow) whatever seems(appears as) ‘hip’ or ‘in’. They are quick to follow whatever they think is fashionable. In fashion is included dress, hairstyle, food, drugs and even moral values in a nutshell our whole lifestyle has fallen victim to fashion.

It is in the nature of young people to be like the people in other parts of the world. Except in the most strictly conservative societies it is impossible to stem the flood of fashion coming from all parts of the world. Thus what is discovered as fashion in one part of the world spreads like wildfire everywhere else.
